Emily Davenport, a native of Alexander City since 1971, studied Secretarial Science from the Alexander City Junior College. She started working for Dark Insurance Agency insuring the residents of this town when the agency was located on Green Street in 1981. In 1992 the agency moved to the location in which it sits today. Under her belt is 35 years of experience in the Personal Lines Department servicing insureds, underwriting and selling policies. Emily is married to Reid Davenport. They have 7 children and 18 grandchildren. In her free time, Emily enjoys spending time with her family, church family, gardening and attending water aerobics.
